Default Ae86 clutch pedal into mx73 cressida

I am converting my mx73 to manual and I was told an ae86 clutch pedal bolted straight in. The bolts on the pedal are straight up and down but the holes on the fire wall are diagonal. Do I drill new holes in the firewall?

That's what I thought too but I looked into it a bit and alot of people recommended ae86 clutch pedals as they are supposed to bolt straight in. I was just wondering what other people have done/ used. Any help or pictures would be much appreciated

I woudl think that RA65/MA61 would be much closer to fitting.

AE86 pedal goes around the steering column on the drivers side as well, which would make it harder.

The RA65/MA61 clutch pedal doesn't line up with the stock brake pedal.
It will go through the firewall perfectly, but it will not bolt to the underside of the dash for its secondary support without a spacer/bracket.

Try and get an 'X' series pedal setup.
