proper coilovers have adjustment on the strut mount so you can adjust ride height without affecting suspension travel etc.

the only issue, as always is that no-one makes them for the st165. correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the st185 rears fit, but it's the strut-hub bolt spacing that is different? hence why i'm going to try and fit st185 hub/uprights.

not to offend but my memory sucks.....which jarrad?........
We do coilovers for both models.

really? damn just bought some st18x uprights to do the swap, oh well. wanted a spare set to try conv stud pattern to 5x114.3

so the fortune auto also do st185 and st165?

Well I have given up on the Ground Control idea. To many problems and the cost makes it not worthwhile.

I contacted Brian (Bazda) at Manon Racing Products. What a nice guy. He is making me up a tailor made set of coil overs for my ST165 at a good price.

If you are interested I suggest you contact him.

I think this is a great way to go. If I am unhappy with the spring rate I selected, I can change them. (buy another set). If things change in the future I can always go back and talk to him. He is a guy that personally knows Toyota's.

Have a look at his sight, he is in the sponsor page.

    Cheers
    Fred

I hope he does a better job that the struts in the photo above.
Using large helper/tender springs like that shows someone hasn't put enough effort into designing a proper setup.

Of course we will do a better job. Ours are fully adjustable via the strut length. Not using the spring perch to adjust height.
