HELP 3sgte no power at WOT

Hi all,

My ST185 Celica GT4 is lacking power at WOT.
Strangely it seems to run fine if the throttle is pressed lightly, but as soon as it's open all the way it just seems to go slower! Backing off and power comes back again..

Everything is stock except aftermarket exhaust manifold and highflowed CT26 turbo. There are no boost leaks and boost is stock.

What I've done to try and fix this issue:
- Changed the spark plugs
- Checked the spark plug leads (All at correct resistance)
- Set the ignition timing
- Put fuel injector cleaner through the fuel system

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong?? I'm running out of ideas!

Check fuel pressure as well
What is boost as u might get a leak at hi boost

Hmm whats the easiest way to check fuel pressure?
Boost is stock.

Are stock fuel injectors of the fuel pump known to require replacing after a certain period of time?

u need a fuel pressure gauge
have u got a boost gauge hooked up
if u do does the boost drop off

Fixed the problem! Turned out to be a clogged fuel filter

cool i was on the right track
get yr old filter and cut it apart or blow backwards thru it and catch the dirty shit on white paper
this will show u if u have to much crap or water in yr tank
and maybe need tank cleaned so u dont get more problems
