i bet he works for microtech otherwise y would u say that shit out loud hehehehehe
    anyway each to their own
microtechs are ok ecus its just they ar every cheap but htis isnt bad
becasue they r cheap people fit them cheaply and tune them cheaply
this is y they get bad name
but i also have seen good installations and tuning of them if u take time to do it properly
and like 1jz said they work fine and i guess going by his times u cant bag them out
but im also guessing he has spent alot of time and money to get to that stage

anyway liek i said most ecus will do fine for most street guys
its the way they are fitted and tuned that makes the ecu good or bad

They sort of work well under WOT.

It's the cold start, hot restart, idle, traffic work, general cruising and fuel economy that sucks... You know, the 95 percent of things normal people do with cars

sorry guys that was incorrectly read by dumbass, i thought the full stop i put after adaptronic would have made sense, obvisouly it didnt. it should of read i would personally stay away from adaptronic.

haltech, autronic, vipec and wolf people seem to be having good results with, i really like the new haltech gear, if i hadnt already invested the money i had in the lt 16 and pcs data logger, then i would have one in the car now

no i dont work for microtech, im a financial planner by trade and occupation, and i was always under the impression that a full stop signified the end of a sentence, judging by the amount of spelling issues in the above quoted post maybe you struggle with the purpose of a full stop. he he he

Dumbass his comment is fair if you could actually read a properly constructed sentence then you would of seen which ecu he was criticising but hey don't let the truth get in the way of a little flaming.

Perhaps we should have a vote?

Who would prefer a Microtech over an Adaptronic?

    I know my vote

Off topic, but get Firefox, then get the dictionary for it.

PS, even if you can't speel, punctuation goes a long way (that includes capitalisation, full stops, etc )

i run a microtech... no IACV cold start is good... not perfect... needs to be upwards of 40 degrees to really feel nice driving
    0% issues with hot restart
drives fine in stop start traffic (not sure what the issue is there)

im not saying its the best out there... but it works...

one of the things its lacking is auxilary inputs and outputs... aside from that i cant really fault it
