So, I guess you've told him what "JAFO" means in your sig? I assume he associates the "F" in "JAFO" with the actual F**** word itself? If so, then your argument is non-defensible as he would know what that person was saying.

He knows all about the eff word, something I have used in my own posts before, the word 'eff'. Kids are exposed to swearing at a very early age these days, and as I said, I am not a prude, my objection is to reading it in full when with a little more thought you can impart the sentiment without being so crass as to spell it out.

He is also dead keen to help Dad get his RA23 1GGZE project car finished as it was causing a strain on the relationship with Mum, so he copied me a few times by searching on the net, just like Dad has done for days/weeks/months on end, trying to find the answers to the problems.
i wanna have a convo with this kid. It'd be way more fun than talking to my parents. They dont even know that a 3s-gte powered sw20 is slightly more powerful than my 4a-f powered ae92

I tell you what if this forum is cleaned up any more ill be out of here. Its bad enough I cant flame some people on here who post absolute shite!! If I cant swear when I communicate I cant get my point across the way I would like(see above). I respect the new direction Toymods is heading and really like it,I also make a conscious effort not to swear and flame the tards in respect of this but there comes a time when people have to realise this is a car club with an average age of say 22??, mostly males and that particular demographic swears quite alot more than the rest of the population..So just chill, the forum is on the right path..As for lack of intelligence and swearing,im not going to say my IQ but I dont think they always go hand in hand

I think in certain instances it is acceptable to use some minor language to express "flamage".

However there are too many people that use the F-bomb more than punctuation.

    *gerald reminisces back*

aaaah yes, my very first post. A question relating to what engines can be put into 1st gen celicas. I was young and un-learned of such things. I got well and truely flamed by none other than that anoying green frog which i would learn to hate.

...and now being a little more wiser, i wish i could flame some noobs when they posted noob questions as i had once done, but unfortunatly the rep system does keep at bay the amount of flame i expell from my wizard like keyboard skillz to a minimum.......
