First off I'm not a reseller, I just stumbled across this while browsing the web

With the main points addressed “Outstanding Performance”, “Reliability” & “Affordability”, our new ARMS Turbos gets a warm welcoming by end users. After passing all the extensive extreme testing phases, the long awaited 1JZ turbo is now here! Each component from the turbine, compressor & the center housing has all been designed to deliver the best all round balance of performance. This Turbo comes complete with the special Tomei compressor housing as well as our special Forged Billet Blue Actuator. Both the Torque & Power gains characteristics were made possible from the extensive amount of R&D and testing time that we have invested with the design process. Each component was optimized, without compromise. Completely designed specifically for the 1JZ engine. Designed to deliver great performance for all kinds of conditions, Street, Track and Drift, for an all round “Fun” Performance Turbo Kit.

    Flat Primary Exhaust Pressure.
The boost build up is neither sluggish nor abrupt; we have designed this to be natural and smooth. This characteristic provides a stress free driving experience with easy vehicle operation.

    Response Equal to Stock Trim
Generally, a larger turbocharger relative to stock, results in decreased response of the engine. However, we have managed to keep the response equal to that of the stock trim by matching the most ideal turbine and compressor wheel. Countless hours of testing was of course performed to achieve these results.

    Increased Peak Power
To achieve an increased peak power with the various restrictions such as the turbo size limit is considered a great achievement. We are also proud of the perfectly instant response where there is no lag and no abrupt boost pressures.

Maintains Boost Pressure at High RPMs
It is evident that the stock turbocharger cannot maintain or extend boost pressure above 5,500 RPMs. The M7760 has the capacity to far extend this limit, making it an ideal step for further advanced tuning.

Repair Parts For Rebuilds & Overhauls.
All parts are kept in stock for general repairs, rebuilds & overhauls. So even from aged and or extensive use we will have parts readily available for replacement.

    100% Bolt On
The ARMS series turbo kits all come supplied with all the required gaskets and fitting accessories for a true bolt on application out of the box. So it can be installed immediately without the need to hunt for other parts.

    1 Year Limited Warranty
The ARMS Turbine Kits come with a 1 year limited warranty after the product has been registered with Tomei Powered shortly after purchase.

All the housings made with different materials of metal were first closely examined and tested for energy absorption, friction, and cooling capabilities. The most ideal components were designed and utilized.

Our Billet Aluminum actuator is designed for added strength. This will give that extra support when needed for higher boost applications.
Web prices seem between $1500 and $1700AUD converted. Which isn't bad for bot on and go, given the kit included all oil and water fittings, gaskets and adapters. But a a little on the high side when you consider offerings from Billet/turbonetics or even Garrett's GT(X) or BW's EFR range. Keep in mind though that this is a bolt on and go, no other mods/manifolds/cooler piping/inlet piping changes.

Given that the M8270 (which is smaller) for the SR20 has been verified to make +310RWkW's On a 1JZ this turbo will definitely got you in the 300club.

    An interesting option no doubt...

    Cheers

Will be interesting to see some results on a stock motor/setup.

    Someone buy one first

Cheap option though at the end of the day especially if you were up for a rebuild on the stock turbo. Not that much more than a rebuild.

On paper it looks to be a good thing, and yes, if at $1700 just the turbo gets good results it should sell like hotcakes.
Hardly a direct comparison though when the Tomei setup has the manifold, down pipe, cams and the new turbo running more boost. Really need to see the results of just the turbo bolted on to compare. Who has a stock 1JZ and $1700 to throw at one to find out??

    I'd donate $10 for interests sake. . . . . . . . . .

"On a 1JZ this turbo will definitely got you in the 300club"
    not without cams
vvti 1j hits the "WALL"at about 270-280 kw without cams or headwork
    without massive boost

the vvti 1j has smaller exhaust ports (28mm) then the non vvti which gives it the nice low torque but restricts in high revs/boost
trust me, my vvti 1j with highmount 3076 and all supporting mods made 265rwkw on 20 psi std head/std cams pulp98
then made 315rwkw on 19psi same fuel and rest of the setup just added 264/264cams and valve springs
been told by a headwork guy with exp on them that they dont make that power untill above 25psi on std cams /head

So.......... you're saying the exhaust ports are the restriction, so you fitted bigger cams to fix that? no makey no sensey bro........ Did you address the exhaust port issue at the same time with a porting job?

the original 1j has 28 x 35 to 40 mm oval ports while the vvti 1j has round 28mm ones so the exhaust ports are tiny ,tiny ports +std cams =response not top end
cams are what my tuner recommended to make more power as i was aiming for 300+kw
and got dissapointed by the 265 , how it is now is awesome so no need to port the head unless i get the urge for morepower later

Interesting claims. Sounds more like the cams are holding it back than the head in that case.......... a well designed 28mm round port is hardly a major limiting factor for only just over 400cc cylinder capacity.

Are you still running VVti adjustment on the inlet cam?

yea mybe they std cams are but either way the std vvti 1j gets stuck around 280kw max, still runnning vvti controlled by a haltech with hks264 cam,

Air moves slower with a longer duration cam so the size of the port doesn't need to be as large.

FWIW i have gotten a quote off ebay USA for a tomei kit, 1500 USD delivered to my door. (which using XE, currently is 1,393.79 AUD)

seems pretty cheap for a bolt in kit considering a GCG highflow is worth $2650inc GST (not including postage fees to sydney for me) and a hypergear chinese core is 1350 AUD not including postage and extra fittings you will require fir the new core~!

fourty dollars extra and you get all the fittings you need and a trusted name brand like tomei, its a no brainer really
