I'd love to see some real-world comparisons of this Tomei turbo compared to stock. Sure, there's dyno sheets above (which contradict that the replacement turbo has the same response, clearly there's a torque hole on the graph compared to stock), but generally, a GT35r sized turbo is gonna be significantly lazier to respond than a 3076 (i've run them back to back for info). I know the newer generation turbos are much more efficient than the older toyota design, but its still a BIG jump in wheel size regardless.
Seems they might be built to a price to some extent also, having stuck with journal bearings rather than new gen ball bearing cores?
Still excellent value for money though, i'd not hesitate to try one![]()
