1JZ Cressida Losing Transmission oil

Hi All,

Have been recently filling the transmission fluid in the auto quite frequently. There is trans oil on floor when its parked, and from a quick look, looks like its sprayed around under the car as well (around tailshaft area).

I'm currently away so i havent had it up to have a proper look yet. Just wanted input to see if its a common occurence and where it could be leaking from?

Did see oil drip from one of the pipes (i think its cooler pipe from tran to rad) but didnt look exessive. (are any of the gearbox lines high pressure?)

Car Details:

Triptek 1jz stock conversion mx83 cress. No mods all stock. Drives smooth no noises no nothing..

I believe its from chaser? original gearbox from chaser as well i think

did you end up sorting it out? i heard the dipstick was changed in japan and it was over filled with transmission fluid due to the incorrect reading on the dipstick?

check the output shaft seal on the gearbox...

especially if its been overfilled with fluid

Yep sorted. Dipstick was wrong... I dono about two tone, i guess its white/silver... yeah ocean reef
