    Default Whats this head off?

    Hey guys had a mechanic come through work and doesnt know what this head is off but needs a headgasket for it? Does anyone recognize this head at all? Cheers

    How can someone have a head in their possession, intend to use it and not know what motor it fits.

    I think its from a forklift. Which is what the mechanic does alot of the time. He knows its a toyota just doesnt know what its off. He took it to toyota and they couldnt find out, saying its over 35yr old. So thought i'd give it a shot here.

    most toyota fork trucks are 3y, but thats not a 3y head. hmmmm

    is there a number in the casting somewhere? A pic of the manifold and valve sides would work/help as well.

    it would be 5r from a 42-3FG20 fork lift truck

    Got this pic from a workmate. Im currently on holidays in QLD so cant really get any more pics.

    Yep, plenty of the smaller forklifts are K-series...

    surely the block has some sort of um.... engine number on it? seemed like a strange question to me also

    i just got a message from a workmate asking if i knew, cause im the toyota owner at work. With limited knowledge and only a picture toymods seemed the best place
