    Default 1jz water pump fan clutch... i think

    Hi, im looking at a chaser, and they have had the AC compressor replaced recently;
    A/C compressor was fked due to the fan clutch not working...

    and replaced the A/C compressor now air cool....but only need replace engine fan clutch
    now, im not all that up with AC stuff, but i wouldnt have thought the fan clutch would have any effect on the AC comp at all... May be wrong though

    had a look on the toyodiy,
    ToyoDIY.com
    thats the only fan clutch i could find

    would the two things be related? or would it just be both stuffed up and they assumed they had a common cause.
    Any help would be useful

    (i may have not made alot of sense... pretty tired, and therefore dont know what im saying much )

    Doubt it.
    If it wasn't cooling well only when stopped or going less then 20kph, then the lack of airflow through he condenser would be suspect, but breaking the compressor - low pressure from internal failure, seal leak or clutch - is hard to do other then just plain worn out, especially if its high&low pressure switches are working.
