    Default Is and 18rgte legal in SA?

    has anyone got a forced induction system on an 18rgeu in an old celica and made it road legal?

    You could do it, but it wouldnt be too easy.
    First you would have to do brake upgrades.
    Then it would need to pass an emissions, which would mean installing an aftermarket ECU (youll probably have to do this anyway), a decent cat converter, and having it tested (not cheap).
    Pretty much anything can be done in SA, if you have enough $$s to throw at it.

    Best idea is to call DTEI vehicle standards (aka regency), and ask what would be involved.
    They will probably want you to fill out an approval to modify form and send it in.
