Default TA23 - Disc Brake conversion and Power Steering

    Howdy,

Quick rundown as to what I'm doing:

    Celica TA23 '75
SR20DET engine conversion - 300Hp at wheels (engine and everything attached is sorted)
    Disc brakes front and back
    Power steering
    Fuel cell with surge tank
    Coil-overs front and back

Exterior (except wheels) and interior stock

The interior is absolute perfection stock, not a single crack in the seats or dash, so I'm keeping it this way.

Anyway, to my point, I need some help from here regarding which way I can go with upgrading the brakes and changing to power steering (my wife will drive this beast sometimes).

I heard from B&R Brakes, Castle Hill NSW, that someone from here did an AU Falcon conversion, but he couldnt tell me any much more. I need to know if you changed the master cylinder, any physical cutting or modifying of the car was required to fit the AU Falcon brake calipers and its assembly? Otherwise if anyone else has any other suggestions, that would be awesome.

As for Power Steering, I'm completely blank for ideas. Has anyone done this before? Will it cost more than the earth? Simply put, where do I start?

River is a Hills district lad, and his Ra28 "Trini" runs a Hoppers Stoppers big brake kit which may well have Falcon bits in it. Actually he mentioned B&R brakes in his thread, so I imagine we are talking about the same thing

Have a read of the pages either side of that one..

Hoppers Stoppers Big Brakes disc brakes performance repairs upgrades Australia Custom Car Restorations Corvettes Mustang Ford Holden Plymouth Chev Impala Chevrolet Dodge charger valiant fj lo-riders hot rods car detailing brakes hop-up customising VT is the place that sells the kit.

As for power steering.. people have put ae71/ae86 steering racks in celicas.. so i guess you could try that as an avenue of investigation. Or pump the tyres up
