read exactly what Josh just posted. I am not posting a for sale thread in my sig, simply linking to it, which is *exactly* what josh's example is (if you click on the link in his post)

(reason for outburst: undeserved neg rep)
pfft your still taking the piss out of me with the link.

Josh wrote its ok to have Draven's MA61

you have a totally unrelated topic linking to your thread, thats misleading advertising
    If in doubt power out

I must admit the link is misleading, I clicked on it earlier thinking it would be hidden camera footage of Rona going about his daily duties. Instead it was a link to an MA61 with chrome rear seats

You are right on the money with that statement.

I think that Dravens link is clever marketing, I would have never read his ad if it weren't for the link possibly leading to some Rona laughs

Pos rep to Draven for his clever use of a Rona marketing campaign.

Therefore, I do get annoyed by people who continually leave their for sale ad in their sig even though they are daily users of the site and have an above average rep. I keep seeing one on here but dont know how to approach this person without offending him. And Im not into dobbing people in just for the hell of it. But its unfair on the rest of us as it disadvantages us when someone can get away with it and others cant. In other words, why should he be able to if I cant? All in all, its up to the financial club members to make these decisions, I will just go with the flow I guess......

He could have some interest in that company.... Why else put a link for a kit manufacturer? Contravenes the rules anyhow..

And regarding your edited post, I sent that member a polite PM warning him about his sig on 20/5. He still persists...

a number of ppl have reported it.
Josh ALSO told him to remove it in the ill-fated "St162 rep thread"....

i can't remember where it was (i may have deleted the PM's during cleanout) but his response was that he is providing a service to people so we can get stuffed..... or so it sounded...

I've requested from him that he gets some for the st162 created from his supplier. He has explained to me that he will require a mininum amount of pre-sold kits to cover establishing costs aswell he needs to gauge the interest, because if there isn't enough people it won't worth while.

    Pricing:
If this is going to work, we will require 5-10 people mininum (obviously the more the better). Price will range anywhere from $55 to $70 (P&H Inc.)

    Info on the Dials:
    - Made out of high quality plastic (similar to factory)
    - Professionly screen printed
    - The standard illumination supplied is usually Blue and Red, if special request with enough interest, any colours may be organised.
    - Professionly cut
    - Direct fit into standard cluster (No Modifcation required)

i suppose if he is only advertising his brothers bodgy wares in the 162 thread... it won't affect that many normal people but his attitude is farked....

True that. Rules is rules, start making exemptions and we'll quickly become the trading post for those with less than the required rep
