hi i have finaly got the map sensor and it has sorted the running problem buzzing. thanks guys for the help.
the problem i have now is air in the water system and the batt not chargeing apart from that it runs quite well.
does anyone have any idea where i might of gone wrong on the chargeing side of it.

is the alt sensing wire hooked up?

I think so iv put a new batt on today just to see if it is the batt. And I keep getting air in my water system. Iv run the car with the cap off till it gets hot I turned heater full on and I get heat but after a mile or two the heater goes cold. Also my od is flashing on the dash. Thanks lee

I'll check my wires but can't recall that wire that's probably the problem unless it's called something else on my paper work thanks

if your od light is flashing means it's picked up an error code
in the tranny side of things
your alternator might be fkt
if light goes out means its trying to charge
u will measure 12 volts on all 3 alternator wires
but one is the light so that gets earthed
also have u wired up the thick wire from alternator to battery
some uneducated home mechanics always forget this wire

Lol I'm a home uneducated mechanic but I have been to proper mechanics around 80 miles radius and all of them have no clue of shores think there all fitters lol but with the help from wilbo it was sorted just shows England is way behind. Even the auto electricians had no clue umm any way it was the batt no good I did not join a fat wire from the alternator as all the wire join under passenger side glove box.
