Fuuuuuuuuuk! Drove the corolla into work this morning and the CAS has fukn starting playing up, Ecu is intermittently seeing rpm spikes of 11500rpm and hitting ignition cut. Ecu showing errors on the rpm and home signals which to me suggests an issue on the common earth.

This only happened because a black cat walked across the road after I was driving home last night after getting the jerry cans filled with e85.

Car is almost back together, will need to do more work on it tonight \ tomorrow morning. Sounds like a long way to drive to go swimming.

drove car to work today. realised MRC hasnt put any cold cranking values into the ecu..... as a result i arrived an hour late :/

gonna have to figure this shit out or i will be pushing it out of the pelican tomorrow morning.....

still leaking oil from the engine, turbo leak seems resolved though.

"leaking" or "seeping" oil from the engine?

Very big difference as to how expensive your time on the track will be

park it and after 10mins you will have about 10 drops on the ground. so "seeping" is the word i guess. doesnt currently look any worse than your usual 4A dizzy seal type leak, but could get worse as the oil gets proeprly hot??? we'll see...

Yeah yeah yeah. I'm not sure how but today has kind of snuck up on me - i've known it's coming of course but i went to bed last night and went, "crap, wakefield's tomorrow and i haven't replaced that accessories belt i broke, packed the car or organised anything". And i haven't organised tonight's meet up - easy fixed though.

So - tonight i'm saying 8pm just for Greg. He never likes my optomistic 7:00-7:30 estimations.... I am confident i will be able to leave home by 7pm which will leave me plenty of time to get there.

Scratchie, Williamson Rd sounds right, i'll find and post my map again. Basically right after the M7 joins the M5 there's a 4 lane section then an exit for Brooks Rd. Exit left, turn right at the roundabout then a couple of kms down there's a servo on the left. They're the only roundabout and servo there so it's pretty straightforward when you see it. It does have a subway.

Sounds like some last minute issues up there worse than my no-aircon-no-powersteer struggle. Hope you all get them sorted - Simmo you're good, thought i messaged you sorry. I've got your money if that helps. Vito, no oil down on a wet track please! Sort that shit out - i'm all for hilarity but don't fuck with my track time.

Anybody else need to be told to harden up? Glen, car re-assembled in the rain? Shane, hope you can sort your issue or have some spares as back up.

Going to be a fun day tomorrow! Just remember the early start or you'll cost yourself 30 mins of track time. As always, if you don't know me look for the white corolla with white four-spokes and come say hi.

Probably more important is what time we'll leave the servo as we often ending up yakking away for another hour. So can I suggest meet at 8pm to leave no later than 8.30pm?

We can say whatever you'd like.

Or 7:30pm, will allow you all to yak until 8pm and we leave as soon as i get there? I thought that worked well, i don't know what greg's so upset about...

that's more than my car leaked when I pulled the engine out... remember how that pissed out when at high RPM and high temp.
Depends a lot on where it's leaking from too though.

top end of engine, not front main seal like yours. means it's not under pressure/shouldnt start going apeshit all over the place like yours. ive taken the adub on a couple long drives now and its still only a verrrry slow leak afterwards.
