Help spot what's missing - 22R

I didn't mean there is a gasket separating the two as individual componets... Your right that it's casted, but when it bolts to the head the EGR and the water jacket are close together sharing the one gasket.... What would happen if that gasket was to split?
All 22R's have the port, I always block mine off just so it doesn't stand out.

But I really don't think you have anything to worry about. I have never seen that port used on a carb 22
