    Default 1ggte IAT/AIT sensor relocation?

    Hi fellas,is it possible to remove this sensor from the AFM and introduce it downstream between turbo and TB for WI purposes.
    Yes i want to keep afm for now so no vpc yet.

    you can't remove the actual sensor from the AFM, but if you can find a similar spec (as in temp/resistance curve) screw-in sensor, then fit it where you want and wire it in at the AFM (as the existing sensor has it signal wire there and uses the same sensor earth as the AFM).

    Few options.

    The Delco will by far be the easiest to obtain - air temp sensor Delco 14mm
    But you'd have to work out if its resistance vs temperature graph is the same as Toyota's.

    Other than that an MAP sensor'd Toyota engine should have a compatible air temp sensor to yours.
    Eg, any of the non-vvti JZ series motors.

    Thanks CrUZida, any tips on how work out if its resistance vs temperature graph is the same as Toyota's.' sorry to be a pain but how compatible are they the'MAP sensor'd Toyotas sensor i cant afford to get this wrong.
