3sgte into datto 1200 ute

Ive had a search but havn't had any luck Im looking at fitting a 3sgte into a datsun 1200 ute and was wondering if anyone has done it yet and have any handy hints
what gearbox etc

I know nothing, other than its a brilliant idea.

I'd be looking through Readers Rides at some of the RWD 3S Celica's etc, few nice builds kicking around.

Worth considering a jap import RWD BEAMS 3SG engine, or even 3SG Altezza halfcut if you can find one. Although they are atmo, i'd be a good starting point if you get one for the right money...

Ive got a 4agte in there at the moment but a guy is looking at buyin the complete setup out of it

i know this is not going to sound good, but why not the sr20? as many have done it before and i believe it's fairly easy to get the conv parts?

or you just want to be different?

only thing I like about the nissans is the 1200 ute shape kinda a big fan of the toyota reliability and how easy it is to get power out of the for little $$$
