    hahaha, if acheiving ridiculous power from a kent engine escapes you then please look at this

    I actually picked up a preADR27A kent 1600 engine last week, came out of a 1975 escort ghia. It's got a higher CR and 32/36 weber carb, plus the previous owner plonked a 234 cam in it. This engine in standard form compared to the low compression 1600 motors (1976 onwards) will up my power by 30%, (58ps to 90)

    Who knows, maybe when that's in i'll be content for a while

    by "choked down" i figure he means a restrictor after the butterfly, its a good way to gain some bottom end back if using carbies a bit on the big side

    venturi size is a whole nother discussion lol
    There is no substitute for PUBIC inches
