Wed night street meet aug 31st

As title says I'm heading down to wsid wed 31st aug, to see what the old shitbox can do down the 1/4, as it's been far too long between drinks. So basically just seeing if anyone else is keen to head out for a night of racing???

What's it cost for the night? Never been there before...

cost is $50 to run $20 for spectators U/12 free. must have conforming helmet, long sleeves,long pants, shoes, look on wsid and you will see what they require for helmet. NB: AS1698 is not acceptable AS/NZS 1698 is . its a good night hope to see you there.

I keep forgetting that they changed the helmet rules and i still havent got a new one yet. So im out for wednesday. Have fun guys. They should really make it $10 for specators. Youd get heaps more people that way.

As of this month you can't run open faced helmets in any class either IIRC............... even if it meets the new AS/NSZ standards

Documentation to show this? WSID website still says that open-face is fine for anyone running 10.99 or slower, and I'd bet most of the casual attendees (like me) have an open-face cheapy anyway.

you might be right...... I might be getting my wires crossed...... scrutineer told me at the last meet I attended, and I recall checking it up in the ANDRA rule book, maybe I was only looking at the sub 11 second car regs though. Will find the book and look it up.

I was with my mate at Eastern Creek Raceway on Saturday for his bike races, and they passed his AS only helmet without a second glance. I've borrowed one off him, so hopefully I'll be able to have a run. That's if my motor survives until then

Have we got a meeting spot/phone number to call, or do we just turn up? Also, are we allowed to have *ahem* "pit crew" too? A couple of mates wanted to come along to help and watch me put a rod through the block
