That is typically due to a bad set of contacts in the wiper motor.
Hey guys
I lost my daily to a young lass turning in front of me at a set of lights so my "'project to be started' project Supra" is going on the road sooner rather than later!
One of the RWC issues is my wipers, they won't return back to the bottom of the window when they are turned off, instead stopping dead more often than not where they were turned off. The motors them selves seem fine so i'm thinking maybe its electrical?
Has anyone else had this issue before? Or know how to fix it?
Its an '85 MA61 Auto, 95% stock - something was mentioned about having swapped the head on the engine, but i wasn't listening much as I had intentions of pulling it out eventually anyway.
Any and all help would be great!
Thanks!

Thanks, so just clean and secure? then of course test.
I don't get the car back til tomorrow arvo so I'll have to have a crack at it then. I'll try and take some photos of the sorry beast
We always just put new/used motors in.
Best of luck if you attempt it though, I've never tried it.
Finally had a crack at pulling the motor off just now, didn't realise there were 4 bolts holding it on so the forth one can wait til tomorrow as it's too much effort with a spanner. New socket wrench here i come! Suggestions on a suitable wrench? My tool collection is mainly limited to stuff you hit stuff with.
Also made enquires about getting a new OEM or universal motor at Bursons and was told its near impossible for either.... Suggestions for locations for a new motor? Or suggestion on an attempt at a conversion of another? Like out of a MKIV? (Seeing as i'm looking to end up with 2zjgte conversion at some point)
When i pull the motor apart too I'll post some pics
