Following the Aristo around early in the day i was impressed how it went for just having decent rubber.....was almost tempted to take mine out...almost.

I reckon you're right Rona...with a very tidy lap your Caldina would very likely do a high 1:10.......200aw killawasps and maybe stiffer front springs and a sub 1:10 would be on the cards i think. Pretty good for a family wagon

fuckin awesome day. just wish i had the adub there... the fastest time in the sileighty ended up going to brendan with a low 1:15. pretty good considering the state of the car imo

if the sileighty comes bak for another day it will have a BB T28, alloy radiator and better brakes.... and semis

Swapped my rubber back to the hillclimb semi slicks to be ready for next Sunday and looks like i pulled the pin just in the nick of time on Fri. Last session, the rears were really going off and now i know why...the passenger rear had delaminated the inner 3rd!! you can see the steel belts thru chunks that are missing A few more laps and some type of failure was imminent.

The low oil level turns out to have been a blessing in disguise

Great day and massive Friday night. GT4 suffered from a stupid problem which took me longer to identify than it should have, still got 4 decent sessions in for the day. Got it fixed and got home safe, so gotta be happy with that. Thanks again to Garth for organising it for us.
