FYI to those travelling interstate (and reminder to locals) it's double demerit points in NSW all long weekend (Fri to Monday).
Be safe and I'm looking forward to seeing lots of interesting metal.
ohh what time are we getting there????
I'll be coming down in my ke70. Not a show car by any standard but it's a toyota.![]()
the victorian contingent is in town...all arrived with no real dramas
now i have a small drama....where did all the good old school parts shops that used to be in the Hills of my youth go to?
Am in need of a coolant temp sensor for my 18rg (18rc will fit I am told).. i have failed to get one at the local super cheaps and repcos..
Would any one have one on an old motor in the shed I can borrow or buy that they could bring with them tomorrow? i have a weeks road trip planned in the old girl after toyotafest and i dont much like the idea of not having a temp gauge..
thanks in advance!!
Adam
I've got an 18RC in Rooty Hill if you wanna drop by
Good to hear you guys have made it here OK. Not so cool with the temp sensor though. Unfortunately all the small parts shops that used to be around the place in the hills have closed down thanks to the big chains. If you're still around until Tuesday I'd say go to Burson's off Sunnyholt road in Blacktown, they're a good shop and Toymods club members get a good discount.
I met a couple of visitors from SA today washing their car ready for the show. Hopefully the weather tomorrow is at least as good as today so we can have the show out on the roof this year.
Pm sent thank you!
Oh and if you dont want to come round, there's a sweet shop in St Mary's called Nepean Spares, they're open til 1pm tomorrow, open at 8am.
Hmmm so that one had a much longer extension on it so maybe an 18rc doesn't work.. bugger! Thanks for helping out any ways.
