    Pretty sure the RX8 isn't a 13b. I dunno if the new motors have a number designation but aren't they called a Renesis or something?

    EDIT: hmm i didn't realize the renesis IS a 13b evolution!

    taken from wikipedia - The Renesis engine – also 13B-MSP (Multi Side Port) – which first appeared in production in the 2003 Mazda RX-8, is an evolution of the previous 13B.

    yeah, and it's supposed to make 177kw at the flywheel. WTF happens to it in the gearbox?

    yeah totally forgot mine had that. didn't think it would matter on the dyno till i realized 4th goes over 180km/h. i think it only got to 6800 on the second run. power stops at 6500 anyway lol.

    Mr. Clint, car only ran 11.5 psi

    Methinks it's got something to do with the intake and exhaust mods messing with the careful balance Mazda engineered into its power production!
