NZ project: 1976 Toyota Stout, bags, 20's, worked Beams 3SGE, etc
Aussie project: 1965 Toyota Crown, 22R and some low makes for a nice weekend cruiser.
so then chrysler eats toyota, and ford eats chrysler![]()
well 6L forced fed vs 3lt forced fed .mmm i dont think it matters what brand , bigger cubes will nearly always win .
the vg vs 2jz is equal engine cap so bit hard to compare to double the capacity
good day either way , thanks to clint , and the boys at c-red ( mark , josh and jeff bones )

Phew, what a day - I smell of BBQ, BO and unburnt hydrocarbons!
Without a doubt my most sincere thanks to Josh (fan/gofa), Jeff (peddler/operator) Marc (strapper/butt crack flasher) and their "ring in" assistants for opening up on a Sunday to host our day after cleaning up the workshop on Friday
Thanks also to those who participated with runs - we wound up with 27 people after a few dropped out at late notice and a few more turned up on the day. Congratulations to Wayne taking out top HP overall with his '63 Falcon with 457.6RWHP and also Operator's Choice (just nudging out Aaron's MA61 and Tom's blown hemi 300C), and also to Martin/mxracer92 for taking out best return for forced induction cars (105.3HP/L) and Ben/Senn for the NA award with 79.6HP/L. I hope you all enjoy the Sidchrome ratchet spanners. I will amend the first post with a full results list tomorrow.
Thanks also to those people that simply turned up for a chat, sticky beak and a bit of food, apologies to those who I didn't find the time to chat too.
My personal highlights for the day:
Matt's Crown cruising ratrod style
Wayne's Falcon just sitting there in the car park - absolutely delicious
Marc's comment of "What the f@#$?!!" when he saw the rear end fabrication work in Aaron's MA61, and
The new faces and new cars that came down to support the day.
Looking forward to doing it again next year, in the mean time I hope to see all of you at the next coffee run I'll list for July 24th?!
Clint

Thanks to the organisers for a great first dyno day
However one big detail slipped my mind. Being all jap my car is limited to 180km! The run was done in 5th. 4th ends at 170km LOL. Was beggining to get worried about that big long flat curve![]()
HAHAHAHAHA yeah i think a few people had that 180kmh speed cut issue.
god damn you all with being able to participate.. lol
got me motivated though... gonna try to get the car ready the Midvale day in August..
good to catch up with some people though... and finally pay my membership money..
Stomps
you'll fix your gearbox, and then destroy us all at the next dyno day![]()
Haha, no such problems with my speed limiter, because I don't have one, and because max power is so low they'd already gotten off the loud pedal![]()
