TECCWA at Targa West Langley Park Super Stage: Sunday August 28, 2011

The Targa West tarmac rally event is taking place from Thurs 25th to Sun 28th August.

While most of the stages will take place in various locations from the RAC Driving Centre, to Kalamunda and the Zig-Zag, to Toodyay and Bullsbrook, this year again features the Perth Super Stage using part of Riverside Drive near Plain Street and the Causeway on Sunday afternoon with static car club and other displays on Langley Park, a parade lap has been mooted as well as other "shows" during the day until the Targa West competition cars arrive. TECCWA has been invited to display vehicles with access available via Adelaide Terrace, Plain Street and Terrace Road. Entry to Langley Park will be marked by two Flags with marshals at the entrance to direct you further - tell them you are with the TECCWA display for them to direct you. Entry will be permitted between 0800 and 1000, Exit from the area will be after 3pm. If any car needs to leave prior to 3pm please contact David at the Triumph Sports Owners Assoc (TSOA) display and he will arrange an escort. We will use this event as publicity for our upcoming club show in September and are inviting any Toyota owner with a respectable car to display on the day. Last year's participants noted the bonus of free, easy parking on Langley Park while they viewed the actual Super Stage as a good reason to participate if for no other!
