goto www.ebay.com, as when you search www.ebay.com.au it sometimes buggers up linking the USA items to the australian ebay.

i would maybe buy more, works so well on the patrol im tempted to run integrated water to air plus air to air or just go intergrated water to air and see how it holds up on the track.
the real win is the reduction in volume so i guess if i could get it to remain temp stable with solely water to air i would be very happy.

and yes OC, the pipe is a very tight fit, sometimes too tight, hence having to sometimes take a bit more out of it

    Hi All,
Has any got any "Facts" on the gains or losses, pro's or con's of WTA V's AA intercooling.
I am doing some math taking into account figures as well as overall weight, estimated drag etc.
A little strange i know but something i can't look past.

i bought and fitted a type 19 w to a intercooler and bosch pump from them for my gze mr2 and was very impressed with the diffrence of boost compared with a to a especially in the summer months. Sorry i don't have any figures but the cooler was very cool even after long time usage during the day, also the flow (just blowin through it) was very non restrictive i.e. easy

Bit of a thread revival here, but I am fitting up an ST205 charge cooler to my ST185. The heat exchanger section is damaged, however and wasn't really going to be a nice fit anyway, so I thought I'd just go with a complete different heat exchanger. I found this one on frozen boost:http://www.frozenboost.com/product_i...19fa6831537b71

It is slightly shorter height wise than the ST205 one, but the same width, and is thicker, so I think water volume would actually be higher. It would be a perfect fit. Do you think it would do a good job? I priced up a custom PWR one that was as big as I could fit to make the most of the space, but it was $800, I just thought it would be overkill for a project aiming to make around 300awhp... I can get this cooler, with all the piping I need for around $300. I don't mind spending extra if it's worth it, but I've heard the limiting factor is the charge cooler itself, anyway?

I can't vouch for that particular one, but frontal area is key.
A smaller frontal area but thicker core won't work as well as a larger frontal area, but thinner core with equal volume. This is because in the thicker core, as the air heats up, the rearward portion of the cooler is being cooled by warm air. The thinner, larger core has the hot fluid exposed to more more cool fresh air.

Basically I would try to fit the largest (in front surface area) heat exchanger that I could. Have you thought of using an A/C condenser? They are large and designed for shedding a lot of heat. Grab a smaller one from a small car at a wrecker and stick it in. They're generally cheap as too.
