matt may sell you just the cores if you ask nicely, if not, ebay is a winner for cheap cores

ebay only has a single core oil cooler for US$900?
what are the cores (and their surrounding tubes+ end caps) usually worth per pair?

    edit, US$174 for a 40cm core only http://www.laminova-online.se/Front/...pid=327&cid=78
endcaps ropughly $50 each? or machine your own?

so for 4 cores, abotu $900 plus the tubes they go in and machining, plus TIG it all up?

when matt was getting his off ebay they were paying around 50 a tube, aluminium scaffold pipe is the exact correct size to make an outside tube apparently, and sometimes they have to just machine a touch out of them, due to the tolerances, and he got his own end caps made up i believe

i wonder why laminova sells them for nearly 1/4 the retail price on ebay?
edit: ahh i remember that,, was through a third party and then they realised their listing mistake? or was a part used on some production car and listed as a spare part..... i can't remember that far back

ahh, the LS9 intercooler cores, listed for an incorrect price through GMpartsdirect maybe memory isn7t that bad after all....

you:d want that outer tube to have less clearance than the distance between fins, otherwise there's no point...

edit: where can you get them for $50 a tube now? (cos i'd buy 4 or 8 straight up!)

originals apparently, you can look them up on the laminova web site and the dimesions, etc match up to a part number too. sounds like the goods to me. I am grabbing 4 of them, just waiting on a reply email regarding freight.
