    Default 1GGTE boost cut

I did a search but didn't come up with anything conclusive, I have experienced boost cut on my 1ggte at around 16psi with stock ct12's. However I have just put on a t3/t4 and would like to run more boost once I put bigger injectors in. I would like to know if the boost cut is triggered by the AFM being maxed or by the boost pressure sensor seeing too much boost, most people reckon it's the AFM which causes the cut, if this is the case then can the AFM voltage be "clamped" just before max/cut? and what device could do this?

Any input or experience is appreciated, thanks.

It's triggered by the AFM being maxed out by too much air flow. You can prevent this from happening by tightening the AFM Spring 2 or 3 clicks or getting a device that clamps the voltage so the ECU never see's more than a certain voltage where fuel cut would be triggered. It's called a HKS FCD, but you can make your own too.
