i put another engine in it winds ova but no spark

im in the process of removing all 3 looms as 1 was burnt out and installing them 2morrow i will let you no how i go thxx

well when i tryied to jump start it i connected the eartyh to the engine and the power cable to the positive terminal and it wound over. so it would of been earthed

Yes the engine would have been earthed but if there is no earth to the chassis as well as the engine then the rest of the car will not have an earth.

well,
i changed the wiring loom all 3 of them and now there is no spark still the engine is earthed.
but there is no power getting to the coil,
any more ideas.

there's power going into the coil.. u're sure of that.. ya?

but there's still no spark ... i assume this test was by done by connecting a lead to the coil and the other end to a spark plug? and the spark plug on the engine somewhere?

hm.. did u bench-test the coil ??

and if all else is working the last place i can think of is the ignition barrel where the key goes in... when u turn the key to "ON" does the battery light, engine light, contacts etc etc all working??
