Looks like your starter motor relay. Check the label on top of it and/or follow where the wires go to.

correct starter motor relay..it the engines is turning over as you said.. it is working..
does the dizzy spark AT ALL when u turn the engine over?

dude. terrible punctuation! hard to read post!
- you need to check that all the plugs are in correctly....
- have you taken the dizzy out? is it in the correct position? ie is the timing correct?
- ECU plugged in?
- got the wiring on the coil around the correct way?
just a few things to get you started.....

well its going to have to be a process of illimination.
any one of these could be your problem.
* dizzy / leads / timing
* ignitor
* coil
* fuse or relay
* ECU
* bad wiring
I would start with the most obvious , which would be the timiing belt dizzy etc.
try grounding the lead coming from the coil to the chassis and see if it sparks. that would be a start.
good luck.
Karl
i grounded the coil wire to the chassis no spark so the the dizzy would not be getting spark they said that they tested the engine before i got it what fuses and relays should i look at and i got a new ignitor and still no spark

have you tried another coil?
i will try that tomorrow and let u no
thanks 4 ur help so far if not do u have any ideas it was working fine before i took the old engine out but i noticed that this engine has a diffrent lookind dizzy in it it is a red one from a gt could that make a diffrence
where do the wires go on that relay? which direction and how far do they reach?
beer me!
OMG!!!!!
this is a fullstop .
this is a comma ,
the fuses that you would need to check are the EFI fuse and i think there should be a relay for EFI too.
so there is no spark now, there is either no power at the coil or the trigger signal going to the ECU has been interuppted.
you should check for power at the +ve side of the coil using a multimeter
If the dizzy is different, it may send a different trigger signal to the ECU. the ECU that you have may not be able to understand this signal.
I am not 100% sure with 4age dizzy's, so this will need to be confirmed. try to get the original dizzy and refit it. then see if it starts

adding to what warrior has said.. i've had this problem before.. mine was from the ECU to the ignitor.. something about a trigger failing.. Phrostbyte (RIP) has something similar, was the ignitor. Also look at your coil coz my mate just recently had the same problem coz of a rooted coil. Me old GZE spoontah had a lot of fuse issues, burnt wires and a dodgy ignition system which was part of the reason for a similar (among other) symptoms.
hope this helps .. cheers
Research has shown child in front seat causes accidents, accident in back seat causes child
ok,
i got a new coil today still no spark.The positive and negative poins on the coil have power. i tested them with a circuit tester they both lit up the injectors were pulsing,but the main lead out of the coil had no power at all ,its the lead that comes out of the coil 2 the dizzy.
i aslo got a new ignitor,
still no go........![]()
