couldnt you just use the spacia bellhousing what gearbox do you use for rwd conversions eventally ill be doing one on my corona

Bad luck, only 2 years of the 3S powered spacias 98 and 99 I believe, so fairly hard to come by.
I pulled the sump off this spacia as was keen to see the difference over the 2s sump. Didn't appear to be majorly different plus there was no windage tray but the sump looked like it had been pulled off at one stage and refitted as the goo wasn't factory so maybe they left it out or fitted a different sump as this spacia was in a acco and the sump could have been damaged. I left the sump and pickup all nicely pulled off in the engine bay so I guess someone else took them. Did take the engine mounts though for my 3sgte and they fit perfectly solving the issue of part of the mounting holes on the intake side of the block being ground away. Will post up some pics in the a new post in the tech section to share the knowledge.
Dam EPC, they showed the same integrated windage tray as a 3SGE sump! Doesn't mean that toyota didn't use the rest of there spare 2S sumps on the aussie spacia's though! I've pulled apart aussie 3VZFE's that had the notoriously weak 3VZE rods in them!
so to redig this thread howd the 3sfe spacia sump work out? ive spent much mucking about with motors for the rona 22r, 18rg and now a 1ggte but im rethinking the 3sge/gte option it makes more sence given the layout for the fuel lines and exhaust theyd have to be swapped over to use the 1g not to mention all the fabrication work for the sump and turbo manifold....yada yada
