I'm thinking it may have something to do with solenoid in the carby.
Pulled the engine fuse out and unplugged the solenoid and it didn't make a difference spose ill test it after work
having a bit of trouble getting my corona to run the accelerator pump is stuffed i know that but it just wont run off its own fuel supply tipping some fuel in the carby makes it run for a few seconds but most of the time theres a click from somewhere and it just cuts out.
ive pulled the carby apart and found some of the venturi's were blocked up which ive cleared out but its not made any difference.
any suggestions?

Is the fuel pump pumping ? That click could be the solenoid, it needs power to it to open it . Pulling the fuse & disconecting the wire is opposite to what you want. Test the wire for voltage with ignition on.
just replaced the fuel pump and lines beforehand as i found they were leaking quite alot.
what i meant about unplugging the solenoid was if it had anything to do with the issue im having both that and removing the fuse were done separately but the outcome didnt change so i thought it might be the problem but ive tested it and it gets power and continuity so ber removing it and pysically seeing it operate ive pretty much ruled it out
meh dunno why i asked in the first place.
pulled the carby off again rechecked it properly found the main jet pickups were completely blocked as was the idle jet
and a few other things werent right anyway cleaned it all up unblocked everything and its looking better tomorrow ill test it out
