Also should mention I have convinced a mate with an isf to come up as well.he should be up tomorrow.

Sounds like the crown wheel has split. Looks like it has seen a lot of angry clutch work. Hope the volvo conversion goes well for you.

You will need one of the following:
New ANDRA Rules will be enforced from 01/09/08

Helmets
All helmets need to be less than 12 years old from Date of Manufacture AND meet one of the following Standards:
SNELL SA2000
SNELL SA2005
SNELL 2000 / 2005
SNELL M2000
SNELL M2005
BS 6658-1985
SFI 41.2A
SFI 31.2A
AS/NZ 1698:2006

You will also need long sleeve shirt and pants plus enclosed shoes.

Just a note the guys down there only seem to know the AS/NZ 1698:2006 rating... I turned up last year with my SA2000 rated helmet I use in the drag car and they were umming and ahhing about whether it was legal, fortunatly I had the rule book!

All things being equal you'll be able to go around 8 to 10 times I guess - which in drag racing terms is quite good action for the money!
Car and safety equipment will be inspected first.
You will simply line up in either left or right lane and attempt to get beside someone you want to race if looking to settle scores.

Once you have done your run you line up at one side way down the end out of the way and everyone all drives back up together - there is no separate return road!

Hey jabbatron, that celica of yours is a real surprise. For a low budget build it goes real hard. It wil be interesting to see how it goes with the new diff and some sticky tyres. The tyres you were using yesterday were certainly struggling, though you weren't particularly gentle with them.
