3.0L engine swap

I have a 95 4-runner with a bad 3.0 3VZE engine , I also have a 92 Lexus with a 3.0 3VZE engine, has anyone ever tried to swap from a car to a truck, if so how did it go? Both of the vehicles are 350 mi. from where I live and I have a mechanic to do the swap if possible but want to make sure what I'm getting him (and myself) into before telling him to go ahead. Any experience in this area will be helpful, or if someone has knowledge of a link to a site with the info I'm after it would be greatly appreciated.

the long blocks should be the same surely. but you will need to use all the truck accessories/etc.

the lexus will be a 3vzfe wont it?? double over head cam rather than single?

not sure about engine mounts but the bell housing bolts are the same, and you can use the top half of a 5vzfe intake manifold from newer hiluxes to clear the bonnet as the lexus/camry one wont cause it was in a fwd car, also may want to do something about oil drain from the heads as the 3vzfe is on a 15 degree lean in fwd application, tap a couple of drains in the back of the heads and return to sump or something
