i have nothing to back me up, but as i see it there's no plenum and high rpm tuned motors will have short runners. they may be good for low rpm but i don't see it working as an inlet manifold for a "race" motor
Im looking at tamparacing at a low budget turbo setup, the guy has used an extractor manifold and made it into a intake manifold. Would this be beneficial on a well tuned high rpm motor?

It'll be terrible.
One runner for each inlet into a regular plenum is the go.

that looks a bit like the early 1zzfe metal intake manifolds they had in the US. They changed a couple of years later to a long runner design that goes to a large plenum.
that is about as butcher as it gets!
