Woops... Sorry misread ;p
With the new Howe release bearing, the takeup of the clutch might be a bit touch and go, although it seems to work. Howe recommend a 7/8 or 1in master cyl, has anyone tried finding a larger/replacement one? I'm thinking landcruiser, but no idea if it'll work...

possibly use a 'combination master cylinder' as a clutch master? being a universal unit you can pretty much do what u like with it...

we used a 1" remote master and it wasn't even $100 delivered...
I know of one UZ manual conversion where they had the stock 5/8" Supra/Soarer Master bored out to 3/4, which did the trick. They were also using a Howe...
Yeah, nathan did the same thing, quite an expensive process though!
Ok, to wrap this topic up: I've bored out the factory master to 3/4 inch and made a new piston for it...to be honest, it's too big at 3/4, the pedal is a lot heavier, but the takeup is a lot sharper and more consistent now. Further down the track I might make another one and take the size down to 11/16 (or the metric equivalent that I can get seals for)
