Look at the two cas' and see if internally they are doing the exact same thing, eg. same no. of teeth, wiring etc.
Also make sure the wiring is schmick. Dodgy crimp terminals didn't cut the mustard on mine. Good luck.
i am currently trying to start my blacktop 20v turbo conversion running an adaptronic 420c ecu, and i am unable to get spark on cranking. the settings i have on the ecu are from my old 16v setup running a 4agze CAS, and now i am using the 20v cas minus the dizzy. So i was wondering if there is a big difference in the two different cas? needing completely different triggering settings, or if i am chasing the wrong thing here to achieve spark?
your help would be much appreciated
edit i forgot to mention i am running the 1nz coil over plugs

cant really see the pick ups inside the 20v cas, there is a cover over all that. can anyone confirm which pins/colour wiring off of the 20v cas is for NE, G2, G1 and G-. not sure if i was given the wrong information on this maybe
Can't remove the cover?
As I found with my CAS, the wire colours weren't accurate. I had to actually open it and check each pickup.
Otherwise, try every wire combination...

sorry you can see the pick ups but there is a plastic plate in the way of the wiring to chase it.
sorted the problem today, the NE and G1 were arse about compared to the 16v colouring.
got it started but 800cc injectors are throwing way too much fuel in. will leave that bit up to the pros
Too easy!
well done

Sweet, planning on running 20v cas on my build too
Yeah glad it wasn't anything too wrong, thanks for the help
Hi Andrew
Well done on getting a start. Have you had a chance to send the connector for my CAS. Also now that you have completed the conversion do you want to sell your old CAS.
Cheers
Todd
Hey Todd, no sorry I havnt had a chance to send the plug, every spare moment I've been in the garage lately. It actually made it a bit easier to chase this issue still having the plug, but will try and send it this week. Will let you know when I do. Not looking at selling the cas atm, at this point I want to keep all the old 4agze together
