Is the meet up point past calder park on a side road that maccas is on aswell? Last time i was at calder was when i was 10
There is a big BP service centre just past Calder Park, take the service centre exit, and we will be there in the carpark.
Yep thats the one i found on google maps, plan is for burgzz and myself is to leave geelong at around 5.30-6 and get there by 7am. How did you guys get to the show last year, i heard getting in was all good but trying to leave was a bit of a hassle?
Getting in was simple at that time of day.
I left early and got out quite easily. Those that left as it all wound up found themselves in a jam of 2000 show cars plus thousands of spectators all leaving at the same time.
I reckon I will be leaving early again![]()
Last year i went with a mate who was on his eh premier, we arrived around 8-9 and we got a spot under a heap of trees, do people who arrive early get the oval while people that arrive later get the forest area? or is it just random spots?
Getting out was really easy because we were close to the main exit road, and over the other wside there was 2 28's i think that were parked ith some old corollas, does any1 one remember them?
I reckon the Celicas and old Corollas were us! Have a look here... you might see a few cars you remember

I think people who get there early end up in the forest, and latecomers go to the oval.
However we made a concerted effort to all be in a group together on the oval last year. There are arguments for and against that spot... but we were highly visible and it was easy enough to get together as a group there. Not so in the shade me thinks.
