1jz 2jz fan belt with AC but NO PS

So im having trouble with my fan belt
its a 2jzge with A/C but no Power steering
currently the ribbed side if the belt is running on the tensioner when its normally the back of the belt that is meant to go there so naturally the belt is screeming its head off and slipping a fair bit actually alot

so my thoughts are either.
install ps pump with no lines so factory belt can be used?
modify/make custom tensioner pulley to have ribs on it for the belt?

thats about it, any ideas people?

going to try a LS1 tensioner which is ribbed, hopefully that works
