    After the grease method failed on me I bought a puller like this a few years ago, but paid ALOT more.

    Reusable and handy for other odd jobs.

    sorry but i'm digging my own thread. LOL
    had to remove a spigot bush from a 170 falcon motor. sorry its not a toyota, but, the same theory will apply. use shit wrap or paper towel. stuff it in there wet. the hydraulic action works the same as grease, is less messy, and, resultz for the win



    offending beast. i used a 13mm socket fitted in there perfect with leccy tape wrapped around it.


    hope this helps someone in there quest for removing shitty spigot bushes.

    Seen it done on old fords/chevs with a slice of bread. Sometimes the bread is soaked in oil to assist.
