    Default Clutch master pushrod

    Hey guys.

I have a RA65 clutch pedal that i am using in my MX83 Cressida combined with a Hilux master cylinder. I have run out of length of the pushrod and I am now wondering of anyone knows of a longer pushrod that could be used. The current pushrod is 60mm in length and is held in by a circlip. I would probably be looking for something with around 80mm total length.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers, Brendan

Yeah that was going to be my next plan of attack. Just wondered if anyone had anything different. Cheers.

Yeah, head to the local brake and clutch shop. They normally have buckets full of them.

Cheers guys. I got out to Western brake and clutch this morning. They had a box full of old rods and i managed to find the one that would work. I had to weld a tip to the rod and then grind it back to suit and then the rod still needed to be adjusted to get the pickup right.

My combination is R154, RA65 clutch pedal, Hilux master, random modified pushrod and OS Giken competition twin plate. The pedal is heavier then i thought it would be with past experience with the twin plate but still good. Managed to drive the car onto ramps to muck around with the exhaust.
