1994 camry engine cutting out under light loads??

Hi i came across an unusual problem with a mates car today its a 1994 camry 4cly auto.

Problem: Car runs fine when cold. After driving for 5 - 10 min it still idles fine but completely cuts out under light loads (approx more than 20% throttle) but will come back to life at full throttle.

I have checked all the wiring connectors and vacuum lines to map sensor etc but no change

Thinking of attempting to retrieve the fault codes tomorrow night cos im thinking maybe a bad TPS or MAP sensor but if anyone has any ideas im open to suggestions

could be as simple as a blocked fuel filter, maybe faulty spark plug, not sure if they have a dizzy or coils but could check those out.

Cheers for the suggestions i borrowed a scan tool today plugged it in, went for a drive and what do ya know the car didnt miss a beat always the way so i just reset the computer and ill wait to see if the problem shows up again..
