Nothing here either so the changes have all gone through or just the log books?

Got my permit, with Logbook the other day - paid up $115 for 90 days unrestricted driving. Whoo Hoo!!
No Brett, me neither was your Corona due or did it have time to run on the current permit?
I have five cars no letters yet, maybe they only come when they are due for renewal.
Any word on the 30 year rules?
Sorry havent been down been tied up with Analog Sw off events.
Our next meeting not until FEB
1968 RT40S Corona 1600S series II (restore in progress)
1973 RT104-MQFG 012604 Corona GT JDM (Owned since 1976 242000 km)
1989 ST185-BLMVZ-0007199 Celica GT4 JDM (unmolested classic 95000 km)
2012 ZN-6 86GT (shed find 5000 km in 6 years)
All my three have time to run:
The Moke is May.
The MR2 and Corona are both June or July.
But there is supposed to be interim measures in place for vehicles with time left to run.
I guess I'm just disappointed I dont have a log book to look at.![]()

One of our club members was apparently hassled by the police wanting to know where his log book was when he was on his way to or from the racv mornington rally.
He too hadn't got anything yet and clearly the boys in blue aren't up to date with how its rolling out either.
As far as I can understand the logbooks aren't to be used till febuary until then old rules apply, Vic roads is slowly distributing the log books which must be signed by the club before use. I'm not going to bother to use mine until I renew as mine comes up very early febuary. A lot of the documentation as with most vicroads documentation is very vague

Some more news as to why people have not recieved thier logbooks ect. Went into vicroads the yesterday as the printed out the renewal date on my stickers was wrong so i wanted to sort it out before paying. In short i'm getting a new one sent out early next week but while there the person said that their has been a shortage of logbooks and stickers as well as many that have had renewal dates put in wrong. So it may be a while before those with renewals later in the year get thier stuff as they are having to sort out the mistake with the ones sent out with renewals early in the year along with the shortage of books/stickers already

Just got my log book today in the mail ....
When renewing club rego it still has to be signed by a signature of the club first & then sent back to Vic roads to validate the permit which they then issue you a sticker which needs to attached to the front of the log book to complete the validation ...
It also says the car can be used at any time for any purpose, ( no commercial use ) to a maximum of 90 days use a year ..

Well i recieved the new sticker on Monday and had it signed on tuesday night. Then today I recieved a second logbook in the mail. I wonder how much money vicroads incompetence costs per year![]()
