No worries. So a GTE pump will fit a GE?
I assume that most guys drill the block for oil feed or run a feed off a sandwich plate from the filter block

yea. i opened both up a while ago and iirc the ge runs a gear style pump while the gte is a cresent.

Hey Shane.
I assume that you are running a standard crank with aftermarket rods and pistons.
Did you guys drill the block for the oil feed or use a sandwich plate on the filter housing?

I dont see the big deal in putting the oil squirters in a ge.
everyone says "not worth it", which may be true in a drag application, but wheres the skill in taking a few measurements, milling a flat and tapping a hole?

whats the go with the oil gallery port in the head.. Anyone got any pictures of this?
Re: Oil squirters. An engine with forgies doesnt exactly need oil squirters anyway. Based on the fact that most use (except mahle) high silicone, high expansion aluminium and require a descent amount of heat to run at their desired clearance anyway.
Most rely on oil slinging out from side clearance on conrods.
OEM style pistons possibly a different story.
were do i get a japanese EPC discs from
love the info guys
I personally dont see the benefit in oil squirters.
plenty of ge's are getting around boosted without them and are pulling some decent numbers. theres not many left without boost in the states.
at the end of the day the prices of gte's are rising, and the oil squirters just arnt worth it. pickup a ge and a gte head an bobs your uncle, all for under 1k.
