i went on Toyodiy.com. and it helps out a bit not a bad site
You won't be able to use the 1JZGTE oil pump I wouldn't think given the extra height of the 2JZ block.
Cheers

im not aving a shot at you, but your colleagues at your particular dealing must have no get up and go, my local toyota dealer actually look into shit and find it out, probably why their 21c of spare parts continually wins awards for customer service,
this may be a suprise to some, but i dont sit in my garage and mix and match parts, i have to much invested to fuck around, i run a 2j oil pump that has been midified to realeave pressure on the front seal. i run an mezier water pump which is electric and bolts up like a factory one. sumps are all interchangable obviously. alternators will mix and match. you need to use a 2j timing belt and a 2j tensioner and head gasket. run factory items they are good enoguh for 1900hp
im sure your searches will have told you with a 1j head you need to weld up an oil gallery hole and redrill it at a different angle.

thanks mate i didnt know that about the oil gallery im still looking in to it

1jzgte and 2jzgte oil pumps are the same. 2jzge pumps are different. and the gte versions are meant to have a higher flow rate. The 1jz water pump will aslo fit.
pretty much the same block except a bit taller. but all the brackets and mounts for the ancilleries are basically the same. so as shane said before, most of the gear will fit.
Cheers
