All is not well in the QANTAS fun tank at the moment is it?
farken cars...
I have a mysterious battery drain issue going on... fortunately only when parked for a few hours so shouldn't be a drama for the event...
I unfortunately also have a massive rotational vibration going on in the rear that shakes the bejesus out of the car at anything over 100km/h and feels like the wheels are about to fall off
Its either the dodgy chinese second hand tyre I put on the road rims being massively out of balance... or I some how farked up re-doing my rear wheel bearings... I am hoping its the former, but suspect its the latter.
Shit bum and poop!
Poor old Matty G is out too... cracked head. Poor bugger I feel for him immensely![]()
...hope you get it sorted Adam. You gonna try and fix it today?
As for Matt G.....yeah that sucks in a big way.......hope the 'rolla team have got it covered.

Also what time is anyone meeting at the Kalkallo servo tomorrow?. I am wanting to probably head up between 1 and 2 just to give me plenty of time and not rush. Ian, what time are you going up or should I come round to your place first if you need a hand to pack or load anything?

The week between Bathurst and the Gold Coast V8 races is the worst week to try to achieve anything un-work related... the 6 hour being a week earlier is hurting me this year, normally its on the same weekend as the Gold Coast race so no one notices me go missing the day before the event etc.
Never the less, the plan is tonight to bolt on the race tyres and go for a run and see if the vibration still exists.
If it does, the rear end will have to come apart again and I have bought more bearings "just in case" and will endeavour to sort them tomorrow so I can still drive up tomorrow night or what ever.
Stay tuned really...
Good luck with it........hope it all gets sorted easily enough. Tonight I am packing the car and just doing last minute checks. Fingers crossed all goes to plan.

So just confirming, the saturday is a practice day for all the entrants? What time does it start? I'm still deciding whether to come up friday after work or leave saturday morning. Also what happened to Mr Guastella?

Probably better to get up there on Friday night to save the rush on Sat. With the scrutineering and practice you could theoretically get up there at midday on Sat though and have your car scrutineered and then do the last or 2nd last practice session and be all fine. Just depends on whether you want to have more than 5 or 6 laps in a new car.
