blah, the post i was replying to was obviously not on the last page, and now make my post look stoopid...

i was saying that bozo rona's number of 112rwkw does not sound right.
it was making 108 @ 4000rpm give or take previously, and was pretty much equal to glens 2jz in terms of peak bum/hp. i was expecting a number around 130 given the loss of AFM, and better fuel/ign tuning...

So was everyone else, only conclusion I can come to is that the JEM dyno reads stupid low.

Or ed built in a super secret rona-proof throttle pedal stop in an effort to keep the supra straight, for a while at least...

Has anyone got a boost guage that reads to 20psi I could borrow for the day?
Mine only goes to 15 & I doubt I'm going to have time to go looking for one to buy between now & the day.

    Thank you muchly.

If it helps, Silverwater monitor boost pressure during the run if you want to keep an eye on it.

That's ok if you've already got the higher boost set, no one's going to appreciate me tweaking the boost on the dyno.
And I'm not going to increase it until I've got a gauge that can read upto the boost I want.
The turbo warning light on my dash only activates on the high side of 20psi

Thank's Matt. I'll organise to come get it after my bleed valve turns up.

I'm now curious to see how hard I could lean on the old rattler now, but seeing as the fuel pressure hasn't been increased, all its going to do is lean out even further for the moment.

If you shell out the cash no ones gonna stop it running on the dyno, we've had guys run commodores etc before so I don't see any issue.

I'm sure if Ray's old truck would have fit into the Dyno cell, we would have run that too

well, I'm no longer a certainty
the JZA80 has shat a timing belt, and with it comes the possibility of damaged internals.

Lucky I'm not a poor student or anything, or the thousands this could cost could take a while to come across
