1ggte - code 12 and code 14

hey guys.. my cars running like abit of a pig atm and im pointing the fingers at dirty injectors atm but i pulled some codes thort id ask some questions..

12 - G, NE signal number 1

could be

-Open or short in crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor No. 1, No. 2 circuit.
-Crankshaft position sensor
-Camshaft position sensor No. 1, No. 2
-Started
-ECM

14 - ignition signal

No IGF signal to ECM for 4~7 consecutive IGT signals with engine speed less than 3,000 rpm.

could be

-Open or short in IGF circuit from igniter to ECM
-Igniter
-ECM




now what im not sure is if these codes are the correct problem, im assuming the car would run without these pulses etc... anyone know what IGT signal to ECU means?

just runs like a piece of shit under boost.. just thought id ask if anyone has similiar trouble before i pull the injectors out..

Hi Pandaah,

Do you still have this problem? If so I've been looking into the same sort of issue just with a 22RE not a 1GGTE but on this thread

The same problem has been explained so your problem maybe your igniter/coil as well.

tried the ignitor, wasnt the issue.. i think im having problems with a worn distributor shaft cos timing is bouncing 4 degrees up and down on idle.. havent been ass'ed replacing it yet ive been too busy..
