    i didnt do so well. ran a 15.8 in one run taking off in 2nd. but it boged too much, and second run i fried to right tyre, would help alot if the poor old work ute had an lsd and someone who could launch better.

    Once rolling the uz pulled good thou, in first pass was agains kingswood that ran a flat 15 in a still had the same terminal speed as him

    well that was a cr@p night.

    whats with the harleys! they all had 2 runs before i could even get one.

    Now the exuses for my very poor efforts.

    Run 1. - I had a 30kg tool kit in the back seat which i forgot to take out, so that might explain the sh!t result. On reviewing the video replay i think i backed off to early as well. and I also didnt stall it up enough.

    60ft = 2.4
    330ft = 6.28
    660ft = 9.37
    1000ft = 11.997
    ET = 14.202
    MPH = 103.47

    Run 2. This time i stalled it up to 3400rpm and had slight wheelspin but it felt good, but whats with the MPH!!!

    60ft = 2.196
    330ft = 5.843
    660ft = 8.842
    1000ft = 11.443
    ET = 13.621
    MPH = 103.93

    Run 3.

    I ran a red light so to speak, but i had massive wheelspin anyway so it really doesnt count.

    I know i have a 60kg sub box with airbag equipment attached in the boot, so this would have slowed me down a bit, and after some h'way testing on the way home i worked out i was only pushing 14psi even though i tried to turn it up to 18psi

    Well i dont know how to explain my sh!tty MPH and ET as the previous owner ran a 13.4 at 111mph with a slipping auto.

    Ohh well. Time to buy a supra ahahaha

    Hey,

    For my first time at willowbank, and first time in my car ever, i think it was a good night. The bikes and having to wait almost an hour for the clean up of the track were annoying!!

    Here are my results:

    1st run:

    Reaction = 1.106
    60ft = 2.294
    ET = 14.277
    MPH = 98.99

    2nd run:

    Reaction = 0.898
    60ft = 2.138
    ET = 14.087
    MPH = 99.62

    3rd run:

    Reaction = 0.752
    60ft = 2.118
    ET = 13.886
    MPH = 100.02

    Getting the launches right i think is whats in it for some better times, and possibly some sticker tyres!!
    I think i'll buy a boost controller and add some boost, see if I can't get into the low 13's.
    It was good meeting some more people off the forums too.

    Harley's REALLY piss me off! Apparently the best ones to go to are the street meets which are slightly different to test and tunes. Start at 2pm instead of 4pm and there are eliminations. But if you get eliminated you can have grudge matches. If you go well in eliminations, you acquire points which go towards a championship. Costs extra $5 I think if you aren't an ANDRA member.

    I hope everyone had a good time though. Some things can't be avoided (like oil spills) but next time will definitely be on a non harley night!

    Nilezy: I missed your last run as I had to leave (2 hour drive)

    Also, special mention to Drew aka Fraq from SF.com.au in the green jzz30 "Quickie" who drove 3 hours to get there. Improved .5 of a second on his second run to a 14.6@100.

    Jamie in the crazy 1g z10 ran 12.40@118mph also.

    Wilbo ran a 13.78 with a popped cooler pipe at 3/4 track also.

    Full results will be up in the middle of the week as well as vids that I got. Have to do my assignment now.

    I managed to get 3 runs in for the day.

    1st run - 14.42@112mph
    2nd run - 12.67@117mph
    3rd run - 12.40@118mph Also with a 1.99 60foot time

    These times are on street radials.

    Pretty happy with the outcome, and got to meet a few people too... If it wasn't for the 200+ cars that ended up racing, we may have got a few more runs in.

    I gotta get it back there and try and improve the time a bit more...

    lol
    i was in the slowest car of the night!! the only 5th gen SX there!!

    run 1
    ET: 17.862
    i dunno if anyone was watching but this was when i gave it a little too much off the line and kinda spun all the way thru first and got bogged down in 2nd wasn't much fun but first time and all. i was racing 51eka who ran a 15.052 in his 7th gen SX

    run 2
    ET: 16.702
    more on para but still half a second slower then its probably capable of but what can ya do, its take practice to get things right and i don't have it yet, in time tho, 51eka was slower on that pass

    run 3
    ET : 17.058
    i jumped the start and so i stopped then realised it doesn't matter i should have just hammered it from the start, you live and learn and learn and live, so i will know that for next time, btw this was the pass where the falcon ute flogged me!!!!

    What colour is your car? I remember the first run. I may have got some film depending on which car was yours

    Give it a go. Had another guy on sf.com.au who said exactly the same thing and his is now fixed
    Turns out it was the ECU After much fart arsesing around I whacked the stock one back in and she's perfect. Well... except for boost cut
